Style

0 min read
I still seem to be struggling with "my style."  i keep experimenting and drawing things, a lot of it a complete waste of paper.  I keep drawing different styles to see if anything seems right to me.  I think I have finally come to a realization that I am going to have to really pick a theme that I like drawing and get to work really building on that.  Maybe a "style" will rise to the surface once I start drawing something I'm passionate about.  If anyone has any ideas on how to conquer this dilemma I would welcome comments, but remember I'm totally uneducated.  Until then, I guess I'll just keep at it.

Digital Art

0 min read
It has become apparent to me that I want to move into the realm of digital art.  It is also apparent that my mouse is not going to cut it if I'm going to be doing digital art.  The campaign to save up for a Wacom tablet and a half decent program is under way.  I will probably start with the autodesk sketch book and work my way up to Corel Painter.  The one and only deviation in my gallery was painstaking and done in Photoshop 6 which is beyond obsolete.  I think there are like 10 brushes to choose from.   Looking forward to see what I can do with some real tools.
